Cynthia Huang

Cynthia has completed her qualification as a solicitor in both China and Queensland. She joins Morrison Specter at 2020 as a lawyer specialised in the property and International commercial sector.
Cynthia is instructed by numerous clients with complex business needs. She has acted and continues to act, in a wide range of commercial matters, including

Hiro Sano

As a partner of Morrison Specter, Hiro Sano has over 20 years’ experience in Australian Law and is known for his practical approach and finding solutions. Hiro advises mainly on sensitive issues, managing senior staff exits, board disputes, employment structures and governance issues. He also manages a few complicated employment tribunal claims, working with other members of the team.
Hiro acts for employers of all sizes, from start-up to international corporates in most sectors. He advises on all aspects of the employment relationship – at the beginning, during, the end and the afterwards, including:

Rocky C. Ho

Rocky is a co-founder and Commercial & Corporate solicitor at Morrison Specter.
Dealing with multinational corporations, Rocky advising on a range of different contractual and corporate matters, ranging from micro and start-up businesses, fast-growth businesses to large corporates, , involved in a variety of different sectors and industries, This work includes making and receiving strategic investments, company and business acquisitions, mergers; company and business sales, helping negotiate the terms of funding and
structuring joint ventures. Advising on, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements between businesses; complex shareholder agreements, both domestic and international.
In the commercial field, he specialises in assisting businesses to negotiate with larger scale businesses (both as customers and suppliers), helping them to get a good deal and on fair terms.
Rocky trained and qualified into a boutique corporate law firm and made his way up to partner before he co-founded Morrison Specter Attorneys-At-Law.

Sally S. Gui

Sally Joined Morrison Specter as a senior litigation associate in 2020. She has particular experience of acting on professional negligence matters and general commercial disputes; specialised in corporate insolvency and general litigation field.
Sally advises individuals, partnerships and companies in contractual disputes addressing the contested interpretation of contractual terms and debt recovery matters.

Sally’s main skills included:

  • Handling AU and international business disputes.

Sally advises liquidators and administrators of companies on asset realisations, trust issues and contested claims against directors and third parties. She also acts for individuals facing bankruptcy problems themselves, liaising with trustees, dealing with creditors and exploring alternatives.
Sally qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and joined Morrison Specter in 2020.
Sally is fluent in English and Mandarin; in any case of absence, Sally is covered by Rocky and Cynthia

Young Hwan Choi

Young Hwan joined Morrison Specter as a trainee property lawyer in 2020.
Young Hwan has a broad range of experience in the property industry, with a particular expertise in landlord and tenant matters, management of property portfolios and investment acquisitions and disposals.
Young Hwan frequently advises purchaser-side clients on the construction aspects of significant complex developments and drafts bespoke contracts for clients to use across their developments.

Young Hwan has assisted a wide range of clients, with significant experience in:

  • Developments both residential and commercial
  • Retail properties; advising and acting for a number of national and international retailers
  • Specified locations, shopping centres and out-of-town commercial blocks

Jojo Y.H. Tseng

Jojo is legal assistant and supports our solicitors in a variety of legal tasks. Coming from construction and commercial background, in completing her paralegal degree, Jojo works with solicitors and barristers, providing general assistance to our clients and solicitors across a wide range of practice areas.
Jojo is responsible for growing and developing the business through strategic planning. She works closely with all areas of the firm to implement and drive forward business development and marketing plans, including client care, brand awareness, referral networks, online & digital, PR & communications and events.
Jojo is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese; and in any case of absence,Jojo is covered by Sarah.

Sarah Gui

Sarah assists our solicitors across a wide range of practice areas, most notably commercial and residential properties.
Sarah’s enthusiasm for all things property is reflected in her wide ranging experience including remortgages, bridging loans, residential conveyancing and acting for developers of new build properties.
Sarah is fluent in English and Mandarin; in any case of absence, Sarah is covered by Jojo.
We also have strong relationships with different law firms in different states to accommodate the business when cases are involved across the states.
